American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE)
AIChE is the world's leading organization for chemical engineering professionals, with over 45,000 members from over 90 countries in our parent organization. AIChE as a whole has the breadth of resources and expertise you need whether you hope to enter a career in core process industries or emerging areas.
Here at USF, we seek to provide members a better understanding of multiple aspects of chemical engineering, give hands on projects for students to work together to better prepare for their careers, and allow for networking with engineers in the profession, all to offer opportunities for your professional development so that you may enrich the world you live in.
Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a non-profit educational and service organization that empowers women to succeed and advance in the field of engineering, and to be recognized for their life-changing contributions as engineers and leaders.
Founded in 1950, SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career for women through an exciting array of training and development programs, networking opportunities, scholarships, outreach and advocacy activities, and much more.
At the University of South Florida, SWE's mission is to stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrating the value of diversity.
